Using the app

By using The Memories App you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

Your content

You own everything you save. By saving content to The Memories App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it for the purpose of running the service — including passing it to third-party AI providers when you use AI-powered features.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and use the content you store here. Don't save content that violates someone else's copyright, privacy, or legal rights.

What you can't do

• — Use the service for anything illegal or harmful
• — Attempt to access other users' data or reverse-engineer the platform
• — Abuse the service in ways that degrade it for others (scraping, automated bulk imports, etc.)
• — Resell or redistribute access to the service

Third-party services

Some features use third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic). Your use of those features is also subject to their respective terms of service. We're not responsible for their handling of data beyond what's covered in our Privacy Policy.

Service availability

We do our best to keep the service running reliably, but we can't guarantee uptime. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we ever shut down the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we're required to retain it by law.

Disclaimer & liability

The Memories App is provided "as is." We're not liable for any loss of data, lost profits, or other damages arising from your use of the service. We're a small team — please use the service accordingly and back up anything critical.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
